I am certainly a huge fan of your work and I find your pieces to be exceptionally inspiring, however one thing caught my eye that is bothering me a tad and that is the eagle's foot and claws. It doesn't seem to fit with the branch that it's sitting on and the perspective of the claws themselves seem off.

Otherwise, everything else really looks fabulous, the texture of the feathers and wood, moss, it's too beautiful.

When I saw the style and amazing attention to detail I knew whose work it was, it seems there are never any unfinished corners to your work. Another quality production.

Looking at your art, makes me think I should put more time and effort into the details before I consider a painting finished.

now when you say mixed media but put parentheses around gouache do you mean that you primarily used gouache or your method was gouache like? I only ask because this style is ideal for the type of illustration I want to get into and I like the results you have achieved.
any help would be greatly appreciated!

I am so inspired by this. . . . I could just stare at this picture for hours, mostly because I would try and memorize your technique!!
The only 2 things I would say that detracted from this master-piece would be that the tree and the eagle look like they're meant to be lighter (as if caught in the rays of the setting or rising sun, like in the background where the mountain is touched by sun . . . but then I could be wrong, I'm just a beginner at art), and around his foot looks a little strange, as if it needs to be more defined.
Again, this is just true art at it's purest form!! Bravo! :happybounce:
